New Email Addresses
Last fall we informed you that Fox Tax had joined a national network of accounting firms under the "Archer Lewis Group" umbrella. One of the many reasons we did this was to take advantage of their dedicated IT infrastructure and security, two of the only topics more complicated and faster changing than the world of taxes, allowing us to better focus on helping you with your tax and accounting needs while ensuring your private data stays safe.
As part of this infrastructure shift, we've ported our cloud server and email exchanges to Archer Lewis' platforms. In that move, we're shifting to emails within the archerlewis.com domain. Don't worry, our foxtaxservice.com emails are still being received and we're still your same Fox Tax team, but you may see some replies from your tax accountant coming from @archerlewis.com addresses instead.
What hasn't changed: the preferred/most secure way to communicate and send documents is via our same Online Portal here using the chat and document upload features.
One Big Beautiful Tax Planning Opportunity
As you may have seen, Trump's big bill made it through the meat grinder of Congress and was signed last week, both increasing the deficit by over $3 trillion and spawning a new political party. Regardless of your opinion of the new law, it definitely means you may benefit from some big beautiful tax planning to assess how these new rules will affect you and your taxes. Some of the many changes: EV credits ending 9/30/25, reduction in tax on tips and overtime, changes to child tax credits, changes to QBI deductions, higher bonus depreciation, expensing of R&D costs, 4x deduction for SALT taxes, and many many more.
We're still pouring over the details. Watch for upcoming emails in the next month or two on changes we think may impact many of you. To discuss your situation specifically, please book a consult with your tax professional (standard consulting rates will apply).
